I went for a 50 minute walk yesterday in the morning, then a 2-mile walk/run (running a little more!) on the treadmill in the evening.
I like doing my running in the evening after the kids go to bed. I have enough built-up AHHH! from the kids all day that it feels good to just to run and get sweaty. And I can watch Master Chef on hulu :)
I do pretty good eating during the day, but it's the evening time. I even brushed my teeth and still had a couple tortilla shells and a peach (not bad, but I can cut out the night time eating).
Anyways, what have you been doing?!
Tortilla shells?! Bleh! I just need to go grocery shopping and by some healthier foods. We are still getting rid of the last of our junk so hopefully I'll start eating better. I can only eat some many cuties and broccoli in a day :P I did the 'brush teeth when kids go to bed' thing and it last for 2 days, I did good. But then I wanted food instead. SELF CONTROL DANG IT

ReplyDeletereverse crunch - like a crunch, but instead of lifting your head and shoulders off the ground you are lifting your knees to your chest and hips off the ground.

I'm dancing in my gym/office. I find zumba videos on youtube and download them and put them all together in imovie and they play one right after the other, I've found a few teachers that I like their workouts!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing me how junk food has ruled my life. The no sweets or funk food for Lori has really given me will power. It is now day 12 and I don't have any cravings. And you know how much food is sitting around me house. I will totally buckle tonight. I do love Kileys little 10 min workouts and then I run/walk on the treadmill for 11 mins morning and night. The only problem is that this is consuming my spare time..(zumba takes too much coordination)
